For appointment-based shops: salons, nail studios, phone repair, pet grooming, classes, and retail try-ons. Pick an industry for matching labels and default email templates (booking receipt, consent, reminders, reschedule, completion). After you log an appointment, a receipt email sends immediately (with .ics calendar). After consent, automatic reminders go out 1 day, 2 hours, and on the day of the appointment. 1. Try first & sign up

  1. Try the form: open the booking page without signing up (no real email, no QR code)
  2. Sign up — verify email via activation link
  3. After verification → 15-day trial (400 emails/month) → real emails and booking QR/link
  4. Buy a plan when trial ends at billing
  5. Check shop settings for name, address, phone, and industry.

2. Install to home screen (optional)

PWA install — home-screen icon opens the dashboard like a small app. Log in before installing.

iPhone / iPad (Safari)

  1. Safari → book.yisun.cloud → Share → Add to Home Screen.

Android (Chrome)

  1. Chrome → menu → Add to Home screen / Install app.

Shop PC

  1. Chrome / Edge → Install icon in address bar.

3. Choose industry

Industry changes labels, form fields, and default templates. Supported examples:

4. Daily: log appointments

  1. Dashboard → + 登记预约 (label varies).
  2. Customer name, email, service, date & time; optional staff member.
  3. Save and send email.
  • Immediately: booking receipt with calendar link — no consent required.
  • New customers: consent email for future reminders.
  • Returning consented customers: receipt only.

4½. Self-booking link / QR

Copy your shop link or QR from shop settings. Details: booking link guide.

  1. Post at counter, door, or receipt.
  2. Customer enters email, picks slot and service.
  3. Same flow as staff-logged bookings: receipt + consent for new customers.

Do not collect emails verbally in public — use the booking page.

In-store WiFi required (default)

New shops default to in-store network required for self-booking submit. Customers can open the page anywhere but must be on your shop WiFi to submit (see Terms).

  1. While on shop WiFi, open settings → Register current network (records public IP).
  2. Keep “In-store network only” checked. Re-register if your ISP changes IP.
  3. Sign: “Connect to store WiFi, then scan to book.”

Uncheck in settings if you want remote self-booking (confirmation dialog; see Terms).

Email receipts are not tax invoices — they are appointment notices. Shop billing and sales tax are your responsibility.

5½. Programs · members / birthday / events (optional)

For birthday campaigns, imported member lists, and salon/nail re-engagement — all require email consent.

Member CSV import

  1. Member import — upload CSV.
  2. Columns: name, email, birthday, tier, balance, tags, notes.
  3. Import triggers consent emails; only “agreed” contacts receive program mail.

Birthday emails

Enable in shop settings; sends on birthday (and optional advance notice).

Re-engagement (salon / nails)

After Marked arrived, auto reminder ~28/21 days later if no open booking (industry-specific; toggle in settings).

6. Add to calendar (.ics)

Receipt and reminder emails include an Add to calendar link — downloads .ics for Apple Calendar, Outlook, Google Calendar, etc. Help: calendar help (from email link).

8. Reminders

Automatic

After consent: 1 day before, 2 hours before, and morning of appointment (one send per offset).

Notify now

Dashboard → Notify now on a booking (consent required; one manual reminder per customer per day max).

8½. Confirmation image (PNG)

Dashboard → 📸 Generate image — pick theme and size, download PNG for social or text. Does not use email quota.

9. Complete, reschedule, import

Reschedule

Customer contacts you → dashboard Reschedule → optional email; automatic reminders reset to new time.

Marked arrived

Completion email sends automatically.

Receipt vs consent?
Receipt sends immediately. Consent only gates reminders.
When do automatic reminders send?
